Oscar McGovern is a Naarm/Melbourne-based lighting and visual technician, having completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).

His VCA credits include Lighting Operator for 'Little Women' (2023), Head Electrician for 'Heathers' (2023), Technical Manager for 'Spring Awakening' (2024) and Lighting Designer for 'A Very Expensive Poison' (2024).

His passion lies in the technical aspects of production, with real-world experience in medium to large-scale live performance. His work spans music, nightclubs, and small theatre productions. He has worked frequently with clients at venues, including Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Riva Beachclub, Timberyard and PICA.

Following graduation, he hopes to expand his experience in lighting and technical production.
