Miriam Robinson
Miriam is a Melbourne-based costumier and designer originally from Western Australia, who recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production).
Her passion lies in working with performers to create garments that not only serve the production and intended use but empower the people for whom she designs. Miriam finds excitement within utilising creative mediums to form a connection between costume construction and design.
Her notable Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) credits include Costume Manager on 'Little Women' and Set and Costume Designer 'I’ll Explain It To You Later', Senior Costumier for 'Spring Awakening' and Costume Designer for 'Curtains'. Miriam has worked professionally as a dresser on David Venn’s 'Elvis: a Musical Revolution' and 'Cruel Intentions'.
