Georgie Donnelly is a Melbourne-based lighting technician with additional experience in set construction. She recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Georgie is passionate about enhancing productions with technical elements and hopes to work on large-scale musical theatre productions.
Her VCA credits include Head Electrician for ‘Little Women’ and 'Ocean (an arrangement)' and Head Electrician, Lighting Operator and Programmer for ‘before, between, beyond’, as well as technical manager on 'Curtains' and '(Un)Tethered'. She has gained experience outside of the VCA as a Lighting Designer, Programmer, Production Designer and Set Builder for Killester College’s ‘Little Mermaid’.
Georgie is currently working as a theatre technician at St Kilda’s National Theatre, advancing her experience in programming ETC consoles while also training as a mechanist.
