Declan is a Melbourne-based sound technician and designer who recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).

Declan has a keen interest in sound design and operation for musical theatre. Declan’s VCA credits include Head Electrician for ‘Borneo plus 3’ (dir. Tony Nikolakopoulos), Associate Sound Designer for ‘Heathers the Musical’ (dir. Alister Smith), Head of Sound for ‘Spring Awakening’ (dir. Petra Kalive) and Sound Designer/Head of Sound for ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman).

He also completed an internship with JPJ Audio on 'Tina: the Tina Turner Musical'. His industry experience includes Radio Microphone Technician on ‘Cruel Intentions The 90’s Musical’ (David Venn Enterprises).
